Establishment of Sino-Austrian Center
On September 16, 2007, “the Sino-Austrian Collaborating Center for Chinese Medicine”, a joint-venture program between the Chinese and Austrian sides, was formally established in China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Governmental officials both from China and Austria, leaders of CACMS and more than 100 experts from both countries attended the opening ceremony.
On September 17-18, “2007 Beijing Sino-Austrian Forum for Chinese Medicine” was held in CACMS. Experts from China and Austria carried out a detailed discussion at the Forum on 14 cooperation projects on TCM.
